Stephanie & Evan | Mesmerising Taormina Wedding in Grand Timeo, Italy

The joy of hosting a wedding in Taormina, Italy, cannot be put into words! This mesmerising location enchants with its stunning surroundings. To further inspire your senses regarding how it would feel to celebrate your love here, we will share one of the most amazing bridal stories we’ve documented for one of our couples - Stephanie & Evan. Their Taormina wedding was truly an ode to elegance and romantic allure!

Set in the heart of Taormina, the Grand Timeo Hotel serves up gorgeous, enchanting views for more than a century. As the first hotel built in this city, it gazes across the coast toward Mount Etna. That said, you can immediately imagine how Stephanie & Evan's spectacular Grand Timeo wedding unfolded amid the perfect setting and iconic backdrops. Not to mention, the joy shared between the couple and guests was colourful and abundant.

When the couple contacted us for their wedding, we were super excited as we knew the scenery would be breathtaking.

On the day of their Taormina wedding, we captured the getting-ready scenes of Stephanie and Evan in their respective suites. Stephanie got ready with her maid of honour and best friends. At the same time, Evan got ready in a nearby suite with his friends. The girls celebrated while doing makeup. Stephanie looked alluring in the classic, elegant gown, and Evan's outfit complimented her look perfectly. After this, we all headed for their first look.

The professional Sparx Sicily wedding planners wonderfully planned the ceremony in the outdoor venue. The decor, arrangements, and everything were beautifully done and managed, eventually making the execution much easier. All guests were comfortably seated while Evan waited for his lovely bride. He was all smiles when he saw her walking down the aisle. After exchanging vows, the two love birds looked blissful and sealed their union as husband and wife with a kiss. All of their friends and family members rejoiced and shared the moment of celebration. After this, they waved goodbye and drove towards a couple of portraits led by ourselves and the incredible Elias Kordelakos while the guests moved for cocktails. All guests enjoyed cocktail hour in the space adjacent to the reception.

Our favourite part of the day was the couple's first dance. After the iconic opening, all family members joined and danced their hearts out, enjoying the evening. As their videographers, we loved capturing raw emotions through the dancing, toasts, and speeches in front of the closest family and friends of the couple. Another highlight was the spectacular fireworks show that ended the evening on a high, energetic note. All in all this wedding was the true epitome of love and happiness!
